Cathy’s Comments: This oil has a potent bright citronella-like aroma. The sweet balsamic-floral low notes are quite lasting. Lemon Eucalyptus is a great source for natural citronellal (which has antimicrobial, antifungal, antispasmodic and anticonvulsant activities). It’s also quite useful as an insect repellent, and in various inflammatory conditions. In low dosages, it can be calming and sedating.
