Clove, Super

$10.00

Botanical NameEugenia caryophyllata
Part of Plant: Bud
Cultivation: Ethically wildcrafted
Origin: Morocco
Size: 1/3 oz. (10 ml)
Extraction Method: Steam distillation
Precautions: Avoid during pregnancy. Can be a skin irritant – use sparingly and no greater than 1% dilution.

Cathy’s Comments: Clove Bud, Super is wild-crafted in Madagascar and has a spicy, pleasant aroma. It is warm, sweet, peppery and candy-like. The scent is similar to the common household spice. It is high in eugenol (see Cinnamon leaf) and has a numbing effect on nerve pain, but must be used with respect (and diluted to 1%) due to its irritating nature. It is stimulating, antiseptic, and can help with memory. It can just be smelled for this…no need to put it on your body. Some people find it helps with headaches.
