Cedar, Himalayan

$6.00

Botanical Name: Cedrus deodara
Part of Plant: Wood
Cultivation: Ecologically ethical
Origin: India
Size: 1/3 oz. (10 ml)
Extraction Method: Steam distillation
Precautions: Avoid during pregnancy.

For more information, see Himalayan Cedar oil profile.

Cathy’s Comments: The aroma is rich, sweet-woody and almost balsamic and makes an excellent soap ingredient and is commonly used in India for that purpose. This is a softer scent than the Atlas cedar, and is more useful for spiritual and emotional support than the species from Morocco. What is really lovely is a mix of the two! You may request that on the shopping cart order form. Pick one to order; then let me know you’d like a blend instead. I’ll do 5 ml of each in the 10 ml bottle.
