Cathy’s Comments: This particular carrot seed oil has a mild sweet top note, earthy and root-like body notes and woody-herbal low notes. It is primarily used in skin care applications, especially for those of us who have “mature” skin. Kurt Schnaubelt, Ph.D. (who I studied with back in the 1980 ies) and other sources recommend the internal use of Carrot Seed oil to help support regeneration of the liver. Or, more safely, you can apply topically over the liver (diluted in a carrier oil).
